GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Brent “B.J.” E. Cochran Jr., 20, formally of Chiefland, Fla., passed away July 5, 2010. He was born Aug. 4, 1989, in Bangor, to Brent E. Cochran Sr. and Wanda Farris. He moved to the Gainesville, Fla., area five years ago from Chiefland, Fla. He was a Christian and enjoyed playing video games and messing around on the computer. He was an avid Seminole fan, enjoyed watching sports and loved being with his family. He was known as a jokester and a prankster. He was also an animal lover. He is survived by his father, Brent E. Cochran Sr.; mother, Wanda Farris; grandmother, Beverly “Mimmie” Brady; sisters, Tasha Gulledge and John, Jessica Cochran and Autumn Cochran; numerous aunts, uncles and nephews. He also leaves behind his constant companion and friend, his dog, Little Bit. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. July 10 at Joppa Baptist Church, Chiefland, Fla., with Pastor Bobby Warren officiating.
