DEXTER – Margaret “Peggy” Gudroe, 78, died July 9, 2010, surrounded by her family after a short illness. She was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Newington, N.H., daughter of Frank and Hazel (Prescott) Hobson. She worked for Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter, for 16 years and later became a certified nurse’s aide working for Dexter Health Care. She was a member of Dexter Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband, Floyd A. Gudroe; three sons, Stephen Gudroe and his wife, Karen, Randy Gudroe and David Gudroe and his wife, Rhonda, all of Dexter; a daughter, Carol Gallup and her husband, Allan, of Newport; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
