MADAWASKA – Diane (Reimers) Golembesky, 63, of Aspen Road, passed to the other side July 10, 2010, in Madawaska, from a rapid and advancing gastrointestinal cancer. She was born Jan. 11, 1947, in Mineola, N.Y., the only daughter of George and Dorothy (Prendergast) Reimers. Diane is survived by her two sons, W. Joshua and Matthew Golembesky; two grandsons, Zeke and Gryphon Golembesky; and a wonderful dog, Zoe, all of Madawaska. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Greg, in 2005; her brother, George, in 1969; daughter-in-law, Nancy, in 2009; and both her parents. A “send off party” was held Saturday, July 3, at her home, which was enjoyed by all. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine.
