BANGOR – Althea M. Morrill, 91, wife of the late Alton Morrill, died July 17, 2010, at a local health care facility after a long illness. She was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Bangor, daughter of Milton and Susan Connor. Althea worked for First National Store for 33 years until her retirement and then worked several years for IGA. She enjoyed Christmas and other special occasions with her grand-children and great-grandchildren, and fishing with Barney. She is survived by two sons and their wives, John Iverson and his wife, Pam, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Allen Iverson and his wife, Sharon, of Somersworth, N.H.; her daughter, Karen Bamford of Bangor; her sister, Evelyn Emery of Rhode Island; seven grandchildren, Carl, Carol, Christine, Rebecca, Bill, Norma and Laura; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Poulin; and three brothers. Private graveside services will be held for the family at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
