FRENCHVILLE – Euclide Picard, 83, passed away suddenly July 20, 2010, at home. He was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Frenchville, one of 15 children born to Hypolite and Elise (Pelletier) Picard. He married Gertrude (Jandreau) July 1, 1958. They had one daughter, Frances Dawn. He is survived by his wife and daughter; brothers, Edgar “Pit” of Frenchville and Joseph of El Cajon, Calif.; sisters, Priscelle Dumais of Frenchville, Lee McGovern of Andover, Kan., Muriel of Londonderry, N.H., Rinette Gervais of St. Agatha and Laurette Park of Windham, N.H., many nieces and nephews. He also is survived by special niece and nephew, Linda and Hansley Jandreau. He was predeceased by brothers, Jean Luc, Antoine and Philip; and sisters, Claire, Ursula, Irma and Claudette. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 22, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, at St. Luce Catholic Church, Frenchville. Burial will be after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luce Memorial Fund, Frenchville.
