EUGENE, Ore., and LIMETONE – Kristie Ann (White) Reed, 50, passed away July 19, 2010, after a long struggle with illnesses, complicated by myatonic dystrophy. She was born July 11, 1960, at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, daughter of Jean and Mac White. Kristie graduated from Limestone High School, Class of 1979. That same year she married Daniel “Danny” Reed and began a life traveling in support of her husband’s military obligation. Kristie made friends wherever she went; she loved her family and enjoyed the time she could spend with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing card, working on puzzles and going to bingo. Kristie especially enjoyed work-ing with her hands, scrapbooking and many other crafts. Her greatest love was needlepoint and throughout the years completed some very beautiful work. Kristie is survived by her husband, Daniel Reed of Eugene, Ore.; her mother, Florence White of Old Orchard Beach; two brothers, Scott and Peggy White, and Robert White, both of Saco; and sister, Kari and Scott Kelley of Standish. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her grandparents and uncles, she was predeceased by her father, Malcolm White Sr.; and her brother, Malcolm White Jr., who was married to Dee White of Colchester, Conn. A memorial service will be held Aug. 28 in Limestone at a time to be determined.
