ST. AGATHA – Raoul P. Michaud, 92, died July 30, 2010, at a Fort Kent hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1917, in St. David, son of Patrick and Josephine (Legasse) Michaud. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Aurore Pelletier; five sons and their wives, Joseph and Janet, Bertrand and Jeanette, Clarence and Sophie, all of Windsor Locks, Conn., Richard of South Windsor, Conn., and Donald and special friend, Sue Corriveau, of Fort Kent; six daughters, Bernadette Dumond of Florida, Jeannine and John Ryan of East Hartford, Conn., Jacqueline and Robert Russell of East Hartford, Conn., Claire and Thomas Kelly of South Windsor, Conn., Lorraine and Jay Palmer of Berlin, Conn., and Joan and Ray McPherson of Garland; 20 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren; one foster child, Donald Chasse of Frenchville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandchild, Sharon; one foster child, Gerard Chasse Jr.; several brothers and sisters. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agatha Catholic Church, St. Agatha, with the Rev. Clement Thibodeau officiating. Burial will be afterward at St. Agatha Upper Cemetery.
