MILFORD – Delia C. “Dee” (Ashe) Feero, 81, died Aug. 4, 2010, with her loving family by her side at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Old Town, a daughter of Sadie (Shirland) Ashe. Dee was a loving mother and nana who always put her family first. She truly loved her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. She sorely missed her beloved husband, Jason “Jake,” who died March 6, 2010. She really loved spending time out to camp at Chemo Pond with her family and friends, and watching her grandson and granddaughter play ice hockey. She is survived by her loving daughter, Christine Danielson and her husband, David; grandson, Jason Danielson and his wife, Kristy; granddaughter, Christy Dodge and her husband, Chad; great-grandchildren, Cory Danielson, Lindy Danielson, Joshua Crouse, Chase Dodge and Logan Dodge; her sister, Ardelle “Delli” Yinger and her husband, Harvey; her special nephew, Brian Yinger and his wife, Deb; special nieces, Gloria Dionne, who was always there for her, Carol Blymyer and Gail Holdgrave; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Vin and Arthur Knapp. Dee was predeceased by her husband, Jason W. “Jake” Feero; her mother, Sadie (Shirland) Ashe; sister, Madeline Ouellette; and brothers, Kenneth and Merle Ashe. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Interment will be afterward at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. Immediately after the service all are invited to Holy Family Church Parish Center for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
