THOMASTON – Kendrick W. Dorman, 88, longtime owner of Dorman’s Dairy Dream, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at his home after a period of declining health. Family and friends are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church, One Waldo Ave., Rockland. The Rev. Dr. Brannan Becknell and the Rev. Dr. Linwood Welch will officiate. Internment will be afterward at Achorn Cemetery, Rockland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pen Bay Christian School Scholarship Fund, One Waldo Ave., Rockland, ME 04841.
