WOODLAND – Barbara S. Kish, 67, died Aug. 8, 2010, surrounded by her family in Caribou. She was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Caribou, daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Kennard) Michaud. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed at Potato Service for 10 years; Cyr Foods, Caribou, for several years; as well as Mecon for 10 years, prior to opening her own business, Kish’s Ceramics. She married Michael L. Kish, Dec. 21, 1961. Barbara was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and will be remembered for her love of animals and her family. Surviving, in addition to her husband of more than 48 years, Michael of Woodland, are two sons, Michael J. Kish of Milford, and Richard C. Kish and his wife, Jennifer, of Woodland; four grandchildren, Lindsae Hadley and her husband, Ryan, Katrina Kish and her fiance, Jeremy McIntyre, Michael W. Kish, and Dezirae Kish; her great-granddaughter, Emma McIntyre; and her brothers and sisters, Violet, Albert, Judy, Peter, Patrick and Patricia. Mrs. Kish was predeceased by her son, Timothy; and a sister, Anita. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
