BANGOR – Jeffery J. Small died Aug. 6, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 16, 1951, in Lewiston, son of Norman G. Small and Ruth M. (Pendleton) Small. Jeffery graduated from Edward Little High School, Auburn, Class of 1969. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy. After his service in the U.S. Navy, he spent several years working as a boat builder in the Machias area. Jeffery then moved to Bangor and he worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center for many years. Jeffery is survived by his brother, Peter Small of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents. Friends are invited to visit with the family 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Chaplain Richard Bach, Maine Air National Guard, officiating. Interment will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
