MILWAUKEE and VAN BUREN – Robert Neil Labbe, 60, died unexpectedly Aug. 5, 2010, in Milwaukee. He was born May 23, 1950, son of Alphonse and Gisele Labbe. Bob graduated from Van Buren District High School in 1968 and from the University of Maine in 1971, with a degree in electrical engineering. He was most recently employed as a field manager for Time Warner Cable. Bob was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, TlVOing any game televised nationally. He enjoyed making people laugh, had a great sense of humor and loved life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Gisele of Melbourne, Fla.; three sisters, Yvette Marcan and husband, Bob, also of Melbourne, Fla., JoAnne Labbe of Yarmouth and Lorraine Labbe of Bangor; two brothers, Roger Labbe and wife, Anne, of Lisbon Falls and Peter Labbe and wife, Terri, of Jacksonville, Fla.; several loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Alphonse Labbe. A celebration of life will take place 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 45 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. Please call JoAnne Labbe for directions.
