HOWLAND – Glenna M. Armour, 67, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Aug. 11, 2010, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Howland, the daughter of George P. and Erma (Mason) Grover. She graduated from Howland High School in 1960. She married Thomas D. Armour, Sept. 24, 1960, and they had 40 years together. He predeceased her July 29, 2001. Glenna was a lifelong member of Howland Baptist Church, serving as treasurer for more than 30 years. She went to work for the town of Howland in July 1972 in the town office. She became town manager in 1981 and served in that capacity until her retirement in July 2009. She loved quilting with her sister. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Donna Keim and Geraldine Lee, both of Howland; three very special nephews that she always considered as her sons, Anthony “Tony” Keim Jr. and his fiancee, Traciann Moscinski, of Buxton, Frank Keim and daughters, Madisen and Macie, of Burlington, N.J., and George and Julie Keim and their children, McKenzie and Jake, of Scarborough; as well as several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by two older brothers, Joseph J. Grover and G. Phillip Grover. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Howland Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Porter officiating. Burial will be at Howland Cemetery.
