VAN BUREN – Anita M. Desjardin, 90, died Aug. 12, 2010, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Keegan, daughter of Baptiste and Edith (Carrier) Duplessis. Anita worked for many years volunteering as a housekeeper at the former St. Remi Rectory, Keegan. She is survived by three sons, Robert Desjardin Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of East Hartford, Conn., Daniel Desjardin and his companion, Gaetane, of Bristol, Conn., and John Desjardin and his wife, Nora, of Van Buren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Desjardin Sr., in 1993. A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, with Father David Cote officiating.
