DEXTER – Shirley B. Fish, 95, wife of the late Llewellyn Fish, passed away Aug. 14, 2010, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born June 9, 1915, in Dexter, daughter of Forrest and Sofronnia (Carr) Johnson. She attended Dexter schools, raised four sons and worked at Wentworth Laundry and Tom’s Norge Village. She also did house cleaning for many people and helped care for a few elderly people. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her three sons, Kenneth, Bradley and Linwood; a daughter-in-law, Betty; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; six brothers; and a sister. She is survived by a son, Charlie Fish and his wife, Caroline, of Dexter, with whom she made her home for the past six years before going to live at Dexter Health Care a year ago. She will be missed by her 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no funeral services. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Pastor A. Maurice Neal officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
