ATKINSON, N.H. – Constance G. (Merrill) Gallagher, 83, died Aug. 5, 2010, at Lawrence General Hospital. Born and raised in Bangor, daughter of the late Carl and Lula (Sloat) Merrill, she was a member of Bangor High School, Class of 1945. Mrs. Gallagher was the proprietor for 30 years of a gift and antique shop called The Blueberry Bush, located at Collector’s Eye, Stratham, N.H. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Gallagher of Atkinson; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. Jr. and Barbara Gallagher of Salem, N.H.; a daughter, Mary Lou Gallagher of Atkinson, N.H.; grandchildren, Kelly Ann Aprile and her husband, Christopher, of Tewksbury, Mass., and Ryan Gallagher of Salem, N.H.; nieces, Jan Casey of California and Colleen Ward of Arizona; and a nephew, James V. Casey of Australia. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H.
