MALDEN, Mass., and BRIDGTON – Sandra L. (Bois) Colbert, 64, died Aug. 15, 2010, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston, she was a longtime resident of Malden, Mass., and a 14-year resident of Bridgton. She graduated from Husson University, Bangor, and was a former member of Lake Environmental Association, Bridgton. Mrs. Colbert worked for many years at Price Waterhouse as an administrative assistant. She retired from Edward George and Associates law firm, Malden, Mass., where she also served as an administrative assistant. Mrs. Colbert graduated from Cheverus High School, Class of 1963. She was a former member of Malden Catholic Lancers Club; former member and officer of U.S. Naval Academy Maine Parents’ Association; and former member of West Point Massachusetts Parents’ Association. She is the beloved wife of Richard W. Colbert; mother of Kristen Whitley and her husband, Toby, of Woodbury, Minn., Karen Hemeon of Conway, N.H., and Maj. William “Chip” Colbert and his wife, Erin, of Fort Monroe, Va.; sister of Terrance J. Bois and his wife, Simonetta, of Augusta; and grandmother of eight. Visiting hours will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at E.E. Burns and Son Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Malden, Mass., where service will be 9 a.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Sacred Hearts. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Malden Catholic High School, 99 Crystal St., Malden, MA 02148, care of Development Office.
