BROOKFIELD, Mass. – Peter Arden Bull died peacefully Aug. 13, 2010, at home, his beloved wife, Mary, at his side. He was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Washburn, the second son and child of Arden and Edith Bull. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1959, including an extended period stationed in Germany. Peter was a trusted friend, dear sibling, wonderful and supportive husband, dedicated father and a person of countless kindness to friends, family and strangers. He will be deeply, sadly missed by his wife, Mary Desy Bull and family; his children and their families, Toren and Teri Bull, Zayne Bull and longtime companion, Karen Currier, Shawn and Rachel Bull, all of Vernon, Conn., Darcy Bull and partner, Laura Gallapis, of Denver, N.C., and Scott Damron of Florida; his 12 siblings and their families, Lief V. Bull of Solon, Sonja Flanagin of Eugene, Ore., Harold and Linda Davis of Caswell, Arden E. and Laska Bull of Troy, N.Y., Arlen and Nancy Dow of Presque Isle, Elwood and Judith Ellis of China Lake, Vincent and Erika Flewelling of Pembroke, N.H., Daniel and Martha Crouse of Holden, Gerald and Sarah Morrison of Perry, Carl and Kristine Bondeson of Woodland, Eric C. and Allison Bull of Presque Isle and Kolin Nielsen of Gilroy, Calif.; the mother of his children, Deanna Bull of Vernon, Conn., 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five aunts and one uncle; several nieces, nephews and many family friends. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Arden and Edith Bull; and nieces, Ingrid Erin Ellis and Martha Kristina Morrison. A memorial service for Peter will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Brookfield Congregational Church, Brookfield, Mass. Donations may be made in Peter’s memory to Edith C. There will also be a memorial service 11 a.m. Sept. 27 at State Road Advent Christian Church, Mapleton, Peter’s childhood church.
