CAMDEN – Marion S. Spaulding, 99, died peacefully Aug. 3, 2010, at Windward Gardens, a long-term care facility in Camden. She was born Nov. 26, 1910, in Minneapolis, daughter of the late Peter W. N. and Ellen S. (Olson) Boysen. Marion lived most of her life in the Minneapolis area and moved to Greenville in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Donald G. Spaulding, April 23, 1979; and sisters, Edwin Boysen, Eleanor Hunt, Evelyn Stonestrom and Katherine Wilson. She is survived by daughter, Donna M. Jones and son-in-law, Donald W. Jones, of Plymouth, Minn.; daughter, Nancy E. Watler and son-in-law, Karl W. Watler, of Greenville and Evergreen, Colo.; grandchildren, Katherine L. Sanken of Litchfield, Minn., William R. Watler of Evergreen, Colo., Nancy A. Jones of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Jamie W. Schnetzer of Belfast and Charles D. Watler of Stevenson Ranch, Calif.; and her great-grandchildren, Kelsey M. Sanken, Paul W. Sanken, Michael J. Schnetzer II, Patrick K. Watler, Kristopher W. Watler, Bailey L. Sanken, Julia N. Watler, William R. Schnetzer, Sarah K. Watler and Rachel L. Watler. Service and interment to be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Saint Paul, Minn., at a time to be determined.
