CODYVILLE – Shawn W. Burrill, 32, passed away Aug. 17, 2010, in Codyville, as a result of injuries received in an accident. He was born July 31, 1978, in Lincoln, son of John and Jean (Moore) Burrill. Since he was able to walk, Shawn worked construction with his father. He had also worked for Orland Dwelley and for Shay Brothers. He worked for the Department of Transportation for 11 years and most recently worked on nuclear plants out of state. He loved spending time with his brother, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed taking his children fishing and swimming. He loved going “muddin’.” In addition to his parents, John and Jean, he is survived by two children, Morgan Marie Burrill and Caden Cordell Burrill; a brother, John J. Burrill and his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Dane; a sister, Shandra Haskell and her husband, Lee, and their children, Katrina and Shane; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Burrill Family Cemetery, located on John and Jean’s lot in Topsfield. In lieu of flowers, leave a little rubber for Shawn.
