PRESQUE ISLE – Dee, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully Aug. 7, 2010, after a brave battle with cancer. Dee was born March 20, 1950, in Bridgeport, Conn. Dee worked for Harry’s Honda for 10 plus years before moving on to what she really loved, being Sam’s co-pilot, driving coast to coast for Little River Transport, St. David. Dee was predeceased by her mother, Elsie Comier; her father, Winfield Richards; and one brother-in-law, Nick Curtis. She is survived by her loving husband Alton “Sam” Conroy; four daughters, Jackie and Troy Morrissette of Zachary, La., Shirley and Bruce Belanger, Joy Murchison, and Cheryl Murchison and Jordan Lamoreau of Presque Isle; three sisters, Gloria Curtis of Portage, Zita and Dave Patenaude of Eddington and Elsie and Lewis Undergust of Lewiston; one brother, Gary and Roselee Comier of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be no services, but a celebration of her life for family and close friends.
