BANGOR and ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – Patrick A. Lavoie, 63, died unexpectedly Aug. 24, 2010, in Bangor. He was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Bangor, the son of Albert and Elise (Michaud) Lavoie. Patrick graduated from John Bapst High School and Husson College and worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 25 years of service. He was an avid bowler and a loving uncle. He is survived by his mother of Bangor; his loving wife, Rachelle (Teller) Lavoie of Elmwood Park, N.J.; and two brothers, Raymond Lavoie and his wife, Brenda, of Lumberton, N.C., and David Lavoie of Bangor. Uncle Pat will be missed by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Lavoie. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St., Bangor.
