ORRINGTON – Timothy M. Jameson, 56, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 12, 1953, in Bangor, the son of James L. Jameson and Dianne (Dunton) Andrezik. Tim graduated from Hampden Academy in 1971 and received a bachelor’s degree from College of Great Falls, Great Falls, Mont., in 1977. He served in the Air Force as a security policeman stationed in Great Falls, Mont., from 1975 to 1979. He began his career as a civilian police officer in 1979 when he joined Ellsworth Police Department. In 1981 he graduated from Maine Criminal Justice Academy as president of his class. For the last 16 years he had been a child abuse and sexual assault investigator for Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department. In 1981 Tim married Louise M. Plourde of Fort Kent, settling in Surry for 13 years before moving to Orrington, where he developed a passion for growing roses. Tim is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Matthew Jameson of Wilmington, Del., and Joshua Jameson of Portland; mother, Dianne Andrezik and her husband, Jim, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; three brothers, Kevin and his wife, Dori, of Brandon, Fla., Chris and his wife, Holly, of Scarborough and Sean of Palm Harbor, Fla. He was predeceased by his father, James. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church, 436 South Main St., Brewer. Interment will be afterward at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Ohio Street, Bangor. After services relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at St. Teresa’s Parish Center.
