HAMLIN – Lilly D. Perreault, 64, died Aug. 31, 2010, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 14, 1946, in Van Buren, the daughter of Lucien and Anita (Soucy) Daigle. She was employed as office manager for Tulsa, Inc., the family business, for 38 years. Lilly was a 1964 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Van Buren. Her passion was in doing for others, especially in her parish of St. Peter Chanel. She served as lector for many years, was a member of the parish council and served on several parish commissions, as well as a teacher in the religious education program for 15 years. She was also a member of Red Hat Society for a number of years. Lilly is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Steven Perreault of Van Buren; two daughters, Lynn Black of Tyrone, Ga., and Kim Lajoie and her husband, Gilbert, of Van Buren; two sons, Mark Perreault and his wife, Donna, and Keith Perreault and his wife, Andrea, all of Hamlin; three brothers, Rudy Daigle and wife, Diane, of Topsham, John Daigle and wife, Doris, of Van Buren, and Roger Daigle of Van Buren; six sisters, Collette Walton and husband, Art, of Tucson, Ariz., Rinette Cyr and husband, Freeman, of Bristol, Conn., Jeannine Viel and husband, Milton, Arlene Madore and husband, Percy, all of Van Buren, Rita Boone and husband, Doug, of Deland, Fla., and Joan Sirois and husband, John, of Nashua, N.H.; and 10 grandchildren, Sarah and Rachel Black, Alec, Eric, Luc and Michael Perreault, Josh, Jay, Brooke and Sky Lajoie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Claude Daigle, Robert Daigle and infant brother, George Daigle; and by a sister, Corinne Daigle. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
