CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Randy J. Bell, 34, formerly of Blaine, died unexpectedly Aug. 31, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1976, in Presque Isle, the son of Rudy Bell and Judy (Stillman) Kidd. Randy attended schools in Mars Hill, then moved to St. Albans, W.Va., where he enjoyed playing in the band and playing football. Randy finished his high school years and graduated from Central Aroostook High School, Mars Hill. He learned jet mechanics while serving in the U.S. Air Force, a trade he continued after leaving the service, working for Boeing Co. as a naval contractor specializing on the T-45 Power Plant. He frequently had to go on naval aircraft carriers to service the T-45 officer pilot training jets. Randy is survived by his parents, Rudy Bell of Blaine and Judy (Stillman) Kidd of Monticello; a brother, Corey of Mars Hill; a sister, Jordan Bell of Portland; a stepsister, Karen Boyd of Hampden; nieces and nephew, Montana and Jackson Langille and Milana Sevcik. Relatives and friends may call noon until the time of service 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, at Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill. Interment with military honors will be afterward at Tapley Cemetery, Blaine.
