DOVER-FOXCROFT – Marilyn C. Field, 81, went to her heavenly home Sept. 1, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Sangerville, the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Hall) Bishop. Marilyn was the stepdaughter of Lester Thurston. She is survived by a brother, Raymond Bishop and his wife, Kathleen, of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister, Marlene (Thurston) Lyford and her husband, Doug, of Dover-Foxcroft; and seven nieces and nephews and their families, Timothy A. Bishop, Lori Kelley Nelson, Lisa Wright, Karen Bennett, Bobby Bennett, Todd Lyford and Thurston “Tal” Lyford. Marilyn was predeceased by a sister, Madalene Bennett. Private graveside services will be held in the family lot at Gray Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
