BANGOR – Joanne M. Eldridge, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at a Bangor health care facility, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 29, 1937, in Bangor, daughter of Woodrow and Eleanor (Commary) Michaud. Joanne grew up in Bangor and attended St. John’s Catholic School. She enjoyed a long career as a personal care attendant, and loved spending time at her family camp. She will always be remembered as a very loving and caring individual with a great sense of humor. Joanne is survived by a sister, Sally Hoffman and her husband, Bob, of Oregon; sister-in-law, Deanna Byrum and her husband, Chuck, of Bangor; and best friends, John and Beverly Duffelmeyer of Carmel. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Lawrence Eldridge. Services will be private.
