HOULTON – Robert J. Davis, 71, died Sept. 16, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born March 16, 1939, in Hartford, Conn., son of Robert and Beatrice (Regina) Davis. Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force, where he was proud of his service as a fuel boom operator. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Visitation Church and member of American Legion. After his retirement, Bob was employed by Thompson Oil Co. and Andy’s IGA. He is survived by his wife, Patsy (Thompson) Davis of Houlton; two daughters, Theresa Davis of Omaha, Neb., and Angela Tapley of Houlton; four grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, James and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Nathan; one sister, Cindy Frey of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. David Raymond officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
