KENDUSKEAG – Frances Ann Lake, 61, died Sept. 26, 2010, at her home after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 17, 1948, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, daughter of Romeo and Albertine (Martin) Albert. Frances lived in Madawaska and moved to California at a young age, where she grew up and went to school. She worked as a sales representative for AAA Insurance, Jackson, Calif., for several years. Frances and Steve moved to Maine in 2000, and worked for Webber Oil as a dispatcher. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to her husband, Steve Lake of Kenduskeag, are one son, Thomas S. Lake of Kenduskeag; two brothers, Charles Albert and his wife, Maryann, of Brockton, Mass., and Paul Albert of Campbell, Calif.; one sister, Rosie Davis of Guyton, Ga.; many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor. Burial will be at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
