ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Stephen A. Wiggins, 62, died Sept. 9, 2010, at Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Gainesville, Fla. He was born in Houlton. He resided in St. Augustine, Fla., for the past 15 years, moving here from New Hampshire. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during Vietnam. He worked as a caregiver with the developmentally disabled. Stephen enjoyed fishing and playing cribbage at the St. Augustine Pier. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wiggins of St. Augustine, Fla.; children, James Wiggins of Dayton, Nev., Laura Wiggins of San Francisco and Daniel Wiggins of St. Augustine, Fla.; two sisters, Lyla Dow and Susan Begin, both of Houlton; and a grandson, Drake Wiggins. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, St. Augustine, Fla. Military honors will be given by the U.S. Navy. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
