LUBEC – Charlotte M. Beverly, 63, died peacefully Sept. 27, 2010, at home. She was born Jan. 2, 1947, in East Machias, daughter of the late Austin and Bertha (Foss) Beverly. Charlotte attended schools in East Machias and worked for many years at Guilford Woolen Mill, Eastport. She enjoyed playing cards and talking on the phone with her friends and family. She was predeceased by two brothers, Larry and Austin Beverly. Charlotte is survived by two brothers, William and his wife, Linda, of East Machias and Alvin Beverly of Machias; three sisters, Leah T. Sowers of Machias, Rosalie Floyd of Milford and Betty Wood and her husband, Darrell, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a nephew, Richard Reynolds of Brewer; many nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Jacksonville Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Larson officiating.
