HAMPDEN – Barbara M. McKenzie, 78, died unexpectedly Sept. 29, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Massachusetts, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Partridge. She worked as a personal care nurse for many years. She is survived by five children, Barry McCourt and his wife, Michelle, Deborah McCourt, David McCourt and Michael McCourt; six grandchildren, Heath, Ryan, Barry, Matthew, David and Alyssa; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her friends at Roe Village, where she lived for the last 18 years. There will be a private memorial service for family and friends 2 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Community Room at Roe Village, 113 Western Ave., Hampden.
