LEVANT – Eileen White, 62, died Oct. 8, 2010, after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Bangor, and was raised by her grandparents, Russell and Lillian Martin. Eileen was educated in Hermon schools. She worked for many years at Norge Village Laundromat, Union Street, Bangor, and then for Hertz Car Rental. She enjoyed golf. Eileen spent many hours at Cotton Cupboard quilting and made many beautiful quilts for members of her family. She is survived by her husband, Carl White; sons, Donald Jr., Brian and his wife, Vonda, and their children, Adam and Ashley, Jay and his wife, Melissa, and their children, Regan, Ryan, Crystal and Charles, and Bert and his children, Duncan and Riley; first husband, Donald; stepgrandchildren, Heather, Brandi, Michael, Stevie, Jesse and Aaron; and great-grandchild, Maddie. She leaves behind many friends, including Lois and Linda; and her friends at Cotton Cupboard, Charlene White and Sandy. She will be missed by Kit and Gracie. She was predeceased by her brother, Tom. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Waugh Cemetery, Levant. After the service, a celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at her home on Wing Road, Levant.
