MAPLETON – Edward P. Beaulieu, 86, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born May 27, 1924, in Ashland, the son of Edmund and Lottie (Boyce) Beaulieu. Edward was a hard worker all of his life. He grew potatoes and also had a dairy for many years. He then decided to buy his own truck and start hauling for different companies. Edward enjoyed dancing, country music, hunting and especially fishing. He is survived by three sons, Doug and his wife, Bonnie, of Washburn, Dana and his wife, Denise, of Presque Isle and Brian and special friend, Joni, of Brewer; grandchildren, Karlyn Williams and her husband, Seth, Kara Beaulieu, Karson Beaulieu and his wife, Beata, Raquel Beaulieu, Danna Beaulieu and a special friend, Chad Shaw, Amanda Lynds and Chelsea Lynds; great-grandchildren, Delaney Williams and Victoria Beaulieu; brother, Edwin Boyer of Billerica, Mass.; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Stuart and Malia Maxcy and Forrest and Candy Dudley. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude (Watt) Beaulieu; and two brothers, Gilman and Ronald Beaulieu. At the family’s request, funeral services will be private.
