DOVER, N.H. — New Hampshire police say they’ve arrested a 46-year-old man with a drug habit on charges he robbed three Dover pharmacies of prescription drugs.

On Tuesday police arrested Thomas Jefferson Davis of South Berwick, Maine.

He’s charged with the unarmed robberies of three Dover pharmacies since July 28. The most recent robbery was Monday.

Police say they located Davis after a witness spotted the suspect leaving the scene on Monday in a pickup truck.

Dover Police Lt. Bill Breault tells Foster’s Daily Democrat Davis has a drug addiction and fed his habit by robbing narcotics from the pharmacies.

In court Wednesday, Davis said he needed help.

He’s being held for lack of bail.
