BREWER – Jenny L. Williams, 72, died Oct. 14, 2010, at a local nursing home after a long illness. She was born June 22, 1938, in Cincinnati, the daughter of Elton W. and Hazel I. (Davis) Davis. Jenny graduated from San Juan High School, Fair Oaks, Calif., Class of 1956. She married Roger Williams Jr. in 1956. Jenny was a charter member of River City Quilters Guild, Sacramento, Calif., and she was an award winning quilter. Jenny never sat down without having something to do. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Davis. Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger Williams Jr., are her son, Roger Williams III of California; daughter, Rebecca Yule of Brewer; three grandchildren, Meagan Williams of California, and Glendon and Brian Yule of Brewer; and two brothers, Gene Davis and his wife, Donna, of Hawaii and Wayne Davis and his wife, Terrie, of Oregon. The family thanks Westgate Manor for their extraordinary care of Jenny and her family. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with Jenny’s son, the Rev. Roger Williams III officiating. Interment will be at Rowe Cemetery, Holden. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at their home, 53 Longmeadow Drive, Brewer, after the service.
