HUDSON – Donald Wesley Peirce Jr., 70, went peacefully home to be with the Lord Oct. 24, 2010, with his family by his side at his residence. He was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Hudson, the son of Donald W. and Beatrice (Bubar) Peirce Sr. He enjoyed riding his bike, collecting bottles and visiting his friends in the town of Hudson. He also faithfully attended Hudson Baptist Church. He is survived by a brother, Phillip Peirce of Hudson; a sister, Margaret Timons and her husband, Reginald of Lansing, Kan.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Christine Thurston. Special thanks to Kayla, Yolanda, Ashley, Spring and Haley and the staffs at MAS and Hospice of Eastern Maine. Friends may call 11:30 a.m. until the time of service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hudson Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Jackson and Rev. Garnett Chute officiating. Burial will be at Hudson Cemetery.
