SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Theresa Soloman Edgecomb passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, after a full life of 81 years. Known to her family and friends as Mom, Mimi, Tete and Birdie, Theresa was born in 1929, and lived her first 50 years in Fort Fairfield. Theresa spent the remainder of her years with her daughters in Southern California. Theresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Ann and Allen Kurtz, Laurie and Tom Wylie, and Julie and Jon Swanson; grandchildren, Tommy and Stephen Wylie, Kevin and Katie Swanson; sisters, AnnaMarie Putnam and Natalie Hackett; and all her cousins, nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her brother, Joseph M. Soloman. Committal will be in summer 2011 in Fort Fairfield. “God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, ‘Come to me.’ A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.” We love and will miss you.
