BANGOR – Everett and Gretchen Rush of Benedicta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kasi Rush to Joshua Smith, the son of Keith and Terri Smith of Augusta and Marie and Tom Chase of Patten. Kasi is a 2004 graduate of Katahdin High School in Sherman Station and is a nursing technician at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Joshua is a 2005 graduate of Katahdin High School in Sherman Station and works at Old Town Canoe. The couple is planning an Aug. 6, 2011, wedding at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Benedicta.
