BANGOR – Daniel J. Spencer, 50, passed away Nov. 1, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at a Bangor hospital, after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 18, 1960, in Bangor, the son of Catherine (Conners) Bryer. Danny had many passions; his favorites were making candles, crossword puzzles and going to yard sales. He worked many jobs throughout his life. Among them, he enjoyed refurbishing old houses, being a groundskeeper and many maintenance jobs. Danny was predeceased by a grandmother he loved and missed dearly, Evelyn Conners of Bangor. He is survived by his parents, Catherine and Carl Bryer of Clifton; brothers, Mike Spencer Sr. and his fiancee, Carolyn Canning of Northport, Steve Spencer and his wife, Michele, of Glenburn and Darrell Bryer of Lewiston; sisters, Sandy Beatham and her significant other, Rick McCluskey, of Brewer, Vicki Churchill and her husband, Rick Churchill, of Hampden and Tracy (Bryer) Sutherland and her husband, Scott, of Bangor; a very special nephew, Kyle Churchill of Hampden; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny will be especially missed by two very special friends, Major and Rob of Bangor.
