RIPLEY and BANGOR – Beverly Grant, 91, died Nov. 2, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1919, in Dexter, a daughter of John and Gladys (Mann) Bane. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy, Class of 1939. She had been employed as a stitcher at Dexter Shoe Co. for many years. She was a member of the Ripley Chat and Sew Extension. Gladys is survived by her husband, Wilmont of Bangor; a daughter, Linda Bridgham and husband, George, of Bangor; granddaughter, Shannon Goodine and husband, Derik, of Naples; special great-granddaughters, Meaghan and Kennedi Goodine; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Grant of Dexter. She was predeceased by her son, Barry Grant. Private burial will be at Maloon Cemetery, St. Albans.
