RICHLANDS, N.C., and SMYRNA – 1st Lt. James Zimmerman, 25, was killed in action by small arms fire Nov. 2, 2010, while engaged with the enemy, while leading his men. Friends may call 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at Houlton High School, 7 Bird St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
