HOULTON – Vicki Estabrook, 55, passed away peacefully Nov. 6, 2010, in Houlton, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Houlton, the daughter of Bud and Georgina (Graham) Estabrook. Vicki was a 1973 graduate of Houlton High School, a graduate of Bernard School of Hair Fashion and was a self-employed, award-winning hairdresser for more than 34 years in the Houlton area. She was an active, lifelong member of Military Street Baptist Church and traveled extensively with her sister and mother throughout the U.S. and Europe. Vicki is survived by one sister, Cathy Fawcett and her husband, Michael; her mother, Georgina Estabrook; two special cousins, Bonnie McKay and Joel Graham; and her faithful companion, her dog, Oscar. She was predeceased by her father; a brother, Peter; and her fianc?, Sid Gagnon. Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Military Street Baptist Church with funeral services being held 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Hodgdon Cemetery. A time of fellowship will be immediately after in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to City On The Hill Campaign at Military Street Baptist Church, Ark Animal Shelter or Houlton Humane Society.
