BANGOR – Betty E. Miller, 80, died unexpectedly Nov. 7, 2010, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born April 17, 1930, in Hartford, Conn., the daughter of Julius and Eleanor Wopschall. Betty served with the U.S. Navy, where she met her husband, James Miller, and they were married for 55 years until his death in 2009. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Veterans of Foreign Wars. She is survived by her children, James, John, Janeen, Jason and Janette; and nine grandchildren. A service of remembrance will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Pine Grove Remembrance Center, 1347 Hammond St., Bangor. Interment will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta, after the service.
