CHERRYFIELD – Gordon and Cynthia Kelley of Cherryfield are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Candace Kelley of Brunswick to Nathan Ellis of Orono. Nathan is the son of Eddie and Priscilla Ellis of North Anson. Candace graduated from Narraguagus High School in Harrington in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick in 2002 and a master’s degree in education from Stanford University in Stanford, Calif., in 2007. She is a track and field coach at Bowdoin College. Nate graduated from Carrabec High School in North Anson in 2001. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2005 and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Maine in Orono in 2010. He is the owner of N-E Construction in Orono. The couple is planning a June 17, 2011, wedding at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ellsworth with Father S. Mower officiating.
