FRANKLIN – Mr. Scott Werner and Mrs. Claudette Werner of Franklin are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle Marie Werner of Franklin to Tyler William Isherwood, who is stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Mountain, Idaho. Tyler is the son of Mr. Gary Isherwood and Mrs. Dede Isherwood of Holden. Danielle “Zelli” is a 2007 graduate of Ellsworth High School and will graduate in 2011 from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in elementary education with a concentration in social science. While attending high school, Danielle was awarded the Civil Rights Award for “kindness and justice, and making a difference,” was the 2004 recipient of the Teddy Saunders Award in “recognition of outstanding citizenship and sportsmanship” and was an active member of the soccer and swim teams throughout her school years. Danielle has strived to achieve excellence while working toward her degree, having earned a 4.0 last semester. She looks forward to the day she stands in front of a classroom that will be hers. Tyler is a 2005 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor and attended the University of Maine in Orono. He is an airman first class, soon to be senior airman in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Mountain, Idaho. Tyler was an exceptional student throughout high school, along with being a strong member of the swim team. He continued that level of excellence while attending the University of Maine in Orono, where he continued his love for the water as a strong member of the university swim team. In 2009 Tyler responded to the call of duty, becoming a proud member of the U.S. Air Force, where he completed basic training and a technical training program in the top of his class. He recently returned from a tour of duty in Korea. The couple is very excited to be planning a 2011 summer-fall wedding, as that will be the start of their lives, finally, together. We wish them well in their lifelong adventure, and love.
