The wedding of Kate McDade and Clifford Ginn took place on Sept. 4, 2010, at the Scarborough home of Herb and Adah Ginn. The reception was afterward. The bride’s stepfather, the Honorable Thomas Watson, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Sherry Watson of Bath, who is married to Thomas Watson, and of Michael McDade of Bangor, who is married to Barbara McDade. The groom is the son of Sarah Wilkinson of Richmond, Va., and the late Mark Ginn of Portland. The bride graduated from Morse High School and the University of Southern Maine, and is a community resource coordinator for People’s Regional Opportunity Program, a community action agency serving Cumberland County and helping Mainers statewide. The groom graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and is the co-director of Opportunity Maine, a policy and advocacy nonprofit that promotes innovative investments in education, work force development, clean energy and other promising sectors of Maine’s economy. Mr. and Mrs. Ginn reside in Portland with their three children, Nora An, Natalie and Dylan Ginn. Their honeymoon was in Saint Lucia.
