MEDWAY – Ernest R. “Buzzy” Jones Sr., 64, husband of Doreen Marie (Bouchard) Jones, died Nov. 16, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at an Orono health care facility, after a long illness. He was born Feb. 20, 1946, in East Millinocket, son of Clayton and Bernice (Day) Jones. Buzzy served two years in the U.S. Army and married Marie Bouchard, June 29, 1968. He worked at the tannery for two years until it closed, then went to work in the woods as a woodcutter until he got hurt. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, working in his garage and helping others when they needed help. In addition to his wife of 42 years, Marie, he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Ann and Scott Lord Sr., and their three children, Scott Jr., Audrey and Tiffany, and their children, Fred Jr. and Hailey; a son, Ernest R. Jones Jr. and his girlfriend, Wendy, and their children, Alexis and Clayton; two sisters, Ethel Mushero and Barbara Stevens; a brother, Randy Jones; six sisters-in-law, Geraldine, Pauline, Carleen, Barbara, Bonnie and Mary Jane; three brothers-in-law, Lawrence Jr., Paul and Jack Bouchard; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a very close friend and cousin, Dusty Cramp. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy Lynn Jones; a brother, Sewell Jones; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anita and Lawrence Bouchard; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Bouchard. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr, celebrant.
