DEXTER – Charles H. Vigue, 77, died Nov. 21, 2010, at the Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. He was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Fairfield, the son of Edmond and Irene (McCollough) Vigue. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dexter. He worked for Dexter Shoe Co. for 44 years, retiring in 1998. He is survived by a son, Michael Vigue of Dexter; a daughter, Lynn Arsenault and her husband, Rusty, of Garland; nine grandchildren, Michael, Donald, Cassandra, Jennifer, Adam, Sarah, Christopher, Nicholas and Mathew; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Towle of South China; and a brother, George Vigue of Norridgewock; nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Charles and his wife, Mary, who predeceased him in 2002, will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
