BANGOR – Alice Gallant, 81, died unexpectedly Nov. 18, 2010, of pneumonia. Alice was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Quincy, Mass. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Albert J.; and her son, Matt A. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Vassor Vafiades; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Daisy, Mitchell and Katie, and Eric and Lisa; grandchildren, Steven, Jason, Billy, Leann, Jenna, Matt, Joshua, Peter, Logan and Luke; and great-grandchildren, Kristen and Jared. Alice requested no services. Alice loved children and those who wish to honor her memory may make a contribution to their nearest Angel Tree.
